Drivers:
Our bus drivers are trained in defensive driving, transferring non-ambulatory passengers, passenger assistance techniques, first aid and CPR. Our courteous, friendly drivers will help you on and off the bus or even to your door if you require assistance. Sit back, relax and leave the driving to us.

Dawson County Transit owns 4 buses and on most days operates 3 buses.

Fleet:

All of our buses are 12 passenger and are wheelchair accessible with a lift.  Our current fleet of buses is listed below.

            2010 Ford                   AKA: Roadrunner

            2007 Chevrolet           AKA: Prairie Rose

            2004 Chevrolet           AKA: Paddlefish

            2002 Chevrolet           AKA: Sage Brush

 A new bus is secured at least every five years, at the same time an older bus is usually removed from the fleet unless the demand for rides calls for us to increase the number of buses we keep.
